Wow, what a hidden gem! This place offers a beautiful location with amazing facilities. The shared areas were fantastic, and I especially loved the hot springs park. The fact that it is located right in the park gave us the convenience of being able to enjoy the hot springs whenever we wanted. Additionally, the spacious chalet we stayed in had comfortable beds and a serene environment with the sound of the nearby river. It was truly a relaxing experience.
There were a few downsides to our stay. we were not informed about the additional charge to get into the hot springs.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The river lodge I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, accommodating up to four people. I loved falling asleep to the soothing sound of the nearby river. The rooms and common areas were well lit and clean. The showers provided a unique experience, and there was even a hot tub available. The lodge also had two couches for additional sleeping space. The location within the hot springs area made it convenient to explore the surrounding attractions. Surprisingly, there were not many mosquitoes in the area. The staff was extremely accommodating, especially when we arrived late at night. The restaurant at the hotel offered a clean and well-maintained environment, with a good selection of food for all ages. The security was also satisfactory.
Nothing to fault.

The rooms at Poring Hot Springs & Nature Reserve are simply amazing. They have a separate bedroom and living room, giving you plenty of space to relax. I absolutely loved the private balcony where I could enjoy the beautiful views. The bathrooms are also a highlight, with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries. as a guest who values comfort and a little extra space, I couldn't be happier with the rooms here.
One thing I wasn't a big fan of was the outdoor bathtub in some rooms. It's just my personal preference, but I found it a bit inconvenient.

It is in the Poring Hot Spring area and the rooms are fine. The bathes are nice but it would be better if the hot water were hot spring.
The cottage is excellent.

The setting of the chalet was really beautiful. Also the design fit well with the surroundings.
The restaurant serving the complimentary breakfast was in a beautiful setting, but the food itself was very ordinary.

We thought that the setting of the accommodation was very pleasant and the location of the lodge, within the park, made access to the various Poring Hot Springs facilities easy. The quality of the food at the park restaurant and the attitude and service provided by the staff was of the best quality.
We were disappointed to not to be notified that a significant construction project was being undertaken immediately adjacent to our accommodation. This substantially reduced our privacy and made noise levels unpleasant and incompatible with the 'luxury' nature of our accommodation.

Great house: the master bedroom is huge, with a very nice bathroom that includes a jacuzzi. Second bedroom is equally big with a decent bathroom. Both bathrooms are open air. Living room area is sufficiently big, with a good sized terrace looking over the rapids. The noise of the rapids can be bothering to some, though we enjoyed it.
The River lodge is situated between the rapids and the main parking of the entrance/reservation building and due to the lack of proper insulation the noise of passing cars, and esp. of scooters, can therefore be distruing early morning. Nothing else was negative.

Like the lodge ,had a bedroom and separate living room, we could place the extra bed in the room comfortably for the kids. The room (jungle lodge) was located near the entrance to the hot spring and other attractions. The kids loved the wooden room theme with the large space and sound of the river running nearby. We all liked the canopy walk., Even my 4 1/2 year old daughter enjoyed it. The hot spring was nice even if there were many people there. Pool and slide water was fun or the kids even though the wate rwas quite cold.
We enquired about the largest flower ,rafflesia on arrival and we were ,taken by the ranger, the entrance fee was RM30.00for adult and rm 20 for the kids , I certainly felt that this was not justified after looking at the flower supposedly day 3 of blooming. The dinner at the restaurant was quite good , second day morning we were the first and had to wait 40 minutes to be served the meal as they were short staffed, food preparation was also poor.

We stayed there for 2 nights after climbing Mount Kinabalu. The location is very nice for relaxing. Nothing to do there, except of trekking in the rainforest and swimming in the Hot Springs. The entire resort is quite old, but ok. The price is quite high, but we got an ugrade to a wonderful bungalow style "house". Very nice rooms with living room, outdoor shower and all conveniences you want. Nature pure. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was extremely limited (2 options only - American or Noodles). Probably, because we were the only guests. For this price we would expect more. Dinner was nothing special, meat was poor. There are 2 other restaurants in the village, which are ok, but also not the best, but value for money there is better (we tried the backpacker restaurant and paid almost nothing for ok food. Next city Ranau is 15 km away. No clue, if there is better food.

The decor is fantastic. Pillows are plentiful, truely a good place to relax after an arduous climb from Mount Kinabalu. Good place to shut out the rest of the world as there is no internet, no telephone. Just a big living room where you and your friends/family can hang out to play card games and watch cable tv.
The insects! Well, if you wanted a true "back to nature" vacation, this is a good place to get accquainted with Mother Nature. Insects galore...remember to shut the toilet door everytime you finish using the toilet or be prepared for unexpected 6-legged friends to drop by! The restaurant food is below average and very expensive!

The staffs are friendly and willing to help. One will have the opportunity to meet Orang Utan in its compound, yes Orang Utan!
The most unexpected thing for us was a snake came into our bathroom at night, it shocked my mother and my aunty and the rest of us. The 2 phone numbers to reach the resort management could not be reached and 2 of us have to walk to the office which is 80m away to get help. The resort staffs killed the snake and upgraded us to another lodge that they promised will not have snake. We do hope this will not happen to anyone in the future, encounter with snake is not a fun thing. We hope the Rainforest restaurant will improve its service, especially when we hope to have hot coffee, hot tea to start the day after a night with snake. The water in our cups were rather cold. The ticket system to enter Sabah Park and tickets to Canopy Walk, Butterfly farm are rather strange. We were hoping to start our canopy walk as early as it stated 8am after our breakfast, so we wanted to enter the park at 7am. We were told only entrance ticket to the Park was available, the rest we WILL have to travel back to the main entrance to get the ticket at 8am. This arrangement is not friendly at all, because the distance of each place is not 10m but up to 100m and above.
